March 6 - Adventures in Babyclass

So Friday's around here mean playgroup for Mack...he loves it when all his friends come over and we get to do fun and unusual activities...

This week was no different. He spent some time with the bongos which he enjoys...

and other drums...

We played with streamers...

Maverick also took some time to greet the ladies...although he might want to work on his technique just a bit if he wants to charm the ladies...

Then he went over and started hugging on this baby..which is the leaders "doll" baby. He actually was being so very very sweet. I have been meaning to go get a baby doll to have around the house to help prepare for his new sibling...as I watched him being so sweet, I was reassured that all would be good here in a few short months...

Then it took a turn. It was time to chuck the baby to the ground and poke it in the ear...

And tug a bit on the ear for good measure...

And then bite a bit on its fingers...

It is probably a good thing that this baby doll was made of plastic and that Mack does not yet have any access to real little babies that he could inflict his caretaking skills. I think we have some work to do in the next few months to prepare. Please don't report him to child protective services.
